Umut Tuğa
Umut is a strategic, business-oriented, innovative and hands-on attorney and mechanical engineer with substantial worldwide experience on major construction, energy and water infrastructure projects, having concluded to date an overall contract value in excess of two billion USD. 

The combination of her technical and legal background and her significant experience brings a unique point of view and ability to deliver strategic yet practical and commercially preferable outcomes.

Being former in-house counsel of a major Turkish EPC Contractor (Gama Power Systems Inc.), Umut has significant experience in construction, power generation, steam generation, infrastructure, industrial, water production and conveyance projects in Turkey and internationally.

Umut has considerable experience in the drafting and negotiation of contracts of various forms, claim management, risk management, dispute resolution (ADR, arbitration, litigation), strategic project advice and providing consultancy in regard to bidding/tendering & RFP/RFQ processes. 

Umut is a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, Society of Construction Law and Dispute Resolution Board Foundation.
